Only reliable products can ensure the electrical functional integrity and protect life in case of a fire in tunnels. The cable junction and connection enclosure WKE Rapid-Box HT and WKE 6 T provide electrical functional integrity between 30 and 90 minutes. In doing so, the classes E30 to E90 identify the minimum duration for the functional integrity of the electrical systems. These products ensures that the function of fire alarm systems, acoustic systems or emergency lighting is maintained for at least 30 minutes during an emergency. And in the case of pressure boosting systems for the extinguishing water supply or smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems  for at least 90 minutes. Guaranteed.

When setting up fire protection systems in tunnel engineering, the special influences must be considered. Installed junction and connection boxes are exposed to moisture, dirt as well as pressure and suction forces.

With the new WKE 6 T variants, there is a powerful successor to the proven WKE 54 junction box.

Thanks to IP 66, protection is given against dust, contact and hose water. With an impact class of IK08, the boxes can withstand tremendous mechanical impacts.

Rapid-Box Standard | The solid basic version

The robust enclosure is developed especially for the safeguarded tapping of uncut conductors up to 50 mm² (Cu). So it is not a problem to branch off cables to provide power for a wide variety of applications. The Rapid Box is particularly suitable when regulations make the installation of additional components necessary. The modular construction enables a flexible adaptation to different installation situations.
