Designed for quick and easy commissioning, the Spelsberg EV charging station can be installed in just a few simple steps. Skilled installers can complete all installation steps efficiently, from alignment to wiring.
The generous installation space gives the installer enough room to connect all cables effortlessly. The Wallbox enclosure also has numerous knockouts for cable insertion at the top, bottom and rear. This enables flexible cable routing.
Double membrane seals have also been pre-installed. The Enclosure cover is fitted with quick-release screws for quick opening and closing of the enclosure. The sliding mechanism allows the design cover to be easily slid into place and locked.
Finally, the Wallbox can be quickly and easily mounted on the house wall – the mounting rail and Drilling template make installation easier.
The Wallbox can be easily connected to your home internet, either via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. The final configuration of the Wallbox is completed via the Spelsberg Wallbox app. The installer therefore only needs a smartphone to commission the charging station at home.
The Spelsberg Wallbox is a communication expert: It can be effortlessly integrated into your home network via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. With free over-the-air updates, the Wallbox keeps itself up to date and expands its range of functions.
The Spelsberg Wallbox can also communicate with energy management systems or external backend systems via OCPP 1.6, Modbus TCP and EEBus. Depending on requirements, the Wallbox can be configured with various extensions: for example, software for intelligent charging or cloud-based management software for charging stations, making electric-vehicle charging even more efficient.

One person pays while everyone else uses the charging station? No, that is definitely not how it should be. Integrated authorisation protects against “energy theft.” Permission to use the charging station for electric cars is granted either by the electric vehicle itself (Plug & Charge and AutoCharge) or via an RFID chip.
This is particularly interesting for apartment buildings. Only authorised persons can access the charging station there. Evaluation can also be filtered by authorisation.
For those who need to monitor not just one charging station but manage an entire fleet, dynamic load management is available.
This means that up to 250 charging stations for electric cars can communicate with one another. A major advantage is that outages during peak loads are avoided and the available power is fully utilised.
If a vehicle is to be prioritised, that is no problem. You can decide which electric vehicle should be charged first at the charging station.
Complete management of the Wallbox is handled via the app. Simply pick up your smartphone and start a charging session or commissioning. The Spelsberg Wallbox gives you full control of the EV charging station at a glance. This provides an overview of consumption, charging duration, charging power and the current Wallbox status. The app is intuitive, easy and convenient to use.
For sustainable monitoring, the charging station contains an integrated MID-compliant meter. This meter displays, for example, the number of charging sessions, charging duration and energy charged for all sessions. Down to the user level (authorisation), it is possible to track who operated the charging station and when the electric vehicle was charged. For employees or self-employed users, this has the advantage that the energy charged by a company car can be billed.
