In a global innovation, the new junction and connection boxes in the WKE 200-400 SL series combine in a single product the advantages of the screwless WAGO TOPJOB® S Push-in terminal bocks and certified functional integrity according to DIN 4102-12.
The junction boxes are available in three basic sizes, each with adapted terminal configuration for extensions, junctions, and fused junctions. Thanks to the fuses, for the first time, nonreactive cable branching beyond the limits of fire prevention sections is possible since, in the event of a fault, the functional integrity in the main section is unaffected. This allows considerable cost savings to be made when laying cables.
As with all WKE cable junction boxes from Spelsberg, including the new WKE 200-400 SL series, the VDE certification in combination with a General Building Inspection Certificate demonstrates high product quality and safety in the event of fire.
The WKE BK 1 assembly plate is designed to provide fire-safe mounting of WKE 2-6 cable junction and connection boxes on cable ducts with functional integrity. The adapted, inwardly projecting construction of the assembly plate allows secure installation of cables with functional integrity, without these having to deviate from the straight run of the cable duct.
The assembly plate is DIN 4102-12 compliant and has a General Building Inspection Certificate of E90 functional integrity (No: P-1042 DMT DO) from DMT Dortmund. This certification confirms the functional endurance and thus the integrity of the overall system comprising cable junction boxes and cable support systems, in the event of fire, for up to 90 minutes (E90).
The mounting plate is made from high-grade stainless steel and can be freely combined with WKE 2-6 housings. A single basic model allows all housings in the WKE 2-6 series to be safely mounted in combination - thereby ensuring judicious and economical use of resources.
