Spelsberg's stand (Hall 12.0, Stand E91) is divided into different application areas. The variety of topics ranges from indoor and outdoor electrical installations, industry, agriculture and photovoltaics to fire protection and serial and modular construction. While visitors can try out products and their features at workbenches, experts from sales, product development and the test laboratory present the new Small distribution boards AK Kompakt at the demonstration table. The presentation is complemented by digital tools such as the GEOS configurator, the printing configurator EasyPrint and the BEL Air online tool for temperature rise calculation for low-voltage switchgear assemblies. Visitors can also demonstrate their dexterity at the "Hot Wire" game. Another highlight at the world-leading trade fair for lighting and building technology is the involvement of the next generation: apprentices and other team members are active at the second stand (Galleria 1, Stand B13) in the workshop street as part of the Power Festival, making Spelsberg accessible to young people in the trades.
AK Compact: maximum functionality with minimum space requirement
With the AK Compact, the provider of innovative complete solutions presents a new generation of Small distribution boards for residential and non-residential construction. The variants AK 24 (2-row, 24 modules) and AK 36 (3-row, 36 modules) combine high functionality with a clearly reduced design. Ergonomic Hinged windows, soft self-sealing membranes for tool-free Cable insertion, and screwless PE/N terminals enable particularly quick and clean installation. More space under the DIN rails, tool-free DIN rail mounting and protection class IP65 make the AK Kompakt an equally flexible and robust solution for standard installations indoors. Metric knockouts additionally ensure universal Cable insertion with Cable glands or Double membrane seals.
Abox and Abox Pro: faster wiring, reliably secure
With the new Abox and Abox Pro junction box models with screwless terminals, the expert in electrical installation and enclosure technology is focusing on permanently vibration- and shock-proof connections. Easily accessible test openings at the terminals significantly facilitate assembly, fault diagnosis and maintenance. For more design freedom indoors and outdoors, new color variants are available: the Abox is now available in white, and the Abox Pro is also available in black. The Abox 100 and the GEOS system are now also offered in black enclosure variants.
BEL Air Active: active cooling for small enclosures
With BEL Air Active, the manufacturer from Schalksmühle rounds off its product portfolio in enclosure technology. Heat accumulates in closed enclosures, so conventional cooling solutions are often insufficient and overheating may occur.
The active Ventilation element was specially developed for Small distribution boards and compact enclosure and increases the permissible Power loss by at least 50 percent. This allows thermal challenges to be reliably managed both indoors and outdoors, for example in applications with protection class IP55.
"With this holistic trade fair concept, Spelsberg shows at Light + Building, alongside new products and highlights, well-thought-out, efficient and practical solutions that significantly ease the daily work of the trades, planners and industry," emphasizes Jörn Lindert, Head of Marketing at Spelsberg. "The direct exchange, trying out our products and the integration of digital tools and our young talent make our trade fair presence particularly lively. We look forward to welcoming numerous visitors to our two stands and discussing the future of electrical installation together."
