Designed for installation in standardized M40 enclosure openings, the BelAir active, thanks to a high-quality G4 filter insert according to DIN EN 779, ensures effective dissipation of waste heat while preventing the ingress of dust particles. Despite its compact dimensions of just 45 × 58 × 70 millimetres, the fan achieves a free-blowing volume flow of 31.6 m³/h. Thus, the series offers a powerful solution even for small, densely packed empty enclosures where other fan sizes cannot be accommodated.
A new level of installation convenience
Another highlight is the quick and intuitive installation. Thanks to the round 40.5-millimetre mounting opening, the BelAir active can be installed without the use of special tools and just as easily removed. Filter replacement is also tool-free, which significantly saves time during regular maintenance intervals. This results in a highly efficient solution for installers that optimizes both installation speed and service friendliness. Universal applicability is further ensured by support for wall thicknesses between 1.25 and 4.5 millimetres.

The robust material selection, including a glow-wire resistance of 650 °C according to EN 60695-2-11, underlines the high quality standards for which Spelsberg stands. Both variants, the BEL Air active M40 12-1/sw and the BEL Air active M40 24-1/sw, are classified according to ETIM class EC000320 and meet all relevant requirements according to EN 61439.
