Schalksmühle/Buttstädt, Germany. Günther Spelsberg GmbH + Co. KG now offers its popular series of WKE AK fireproof small distributors in an additional "double-row“ version. With two adjoining small distributors, the WKE AK 14/2, WKE AK 28/2, WKE AK 56/2 and WKE AK 70/2 models can accommodate twice as many distribution units as their standard counterparts.
“We are addressing market demands by adapting our successful fireproof small distributors to give our customers more space for their installations,” says Walter Wirth, product manager at Spelsberg.
The extremely rugged distributors in the WKE AK series are certified according to DIN EN 61439-1 VDE and tested as low-voltage switchgear/controlgear assemblies for use under special conditions. The distributors are also structurally tested according to DIN EN 1363-1 and have fire resistance ratings F30 to F90 (according to DIN 4102 Part 2). They can be custom-fitted with type-tested components.
