The focus is on consistently further developing the Spelsberg Wallbox portfolio and offering a new, more attractive price-performance ratio while keeping the scope of features unchanged and maintaining the manufacturer’s proven quality from Schalksmühle.
Promotion and future-proof charging infrastructure
A particular focus is on the new funding for charging infrastructure in and around existing multi-party buildings, which significantly facilitates and accelerates the expansion of private charging points in the residential environment. The acquisition and installation of non-publicly accessible charging points with
technical equipment, grid connection, required installations and necessary construction measures are eligible for funding. The Spelsberg Wallbox Smart Pro is specifically designed for these requirements and meets the conditions for funding-eligible applications in the area of networked charging infrastructure.
Funding applications have been possible since 15 April 2026. Homeowners' associations, private owners of multi-party buildings, owners of parking spaces, small and medium-sized enterprises and companies with large residential portfolios are eligible to apply . This creates a clear incentive for installers, project developers and the housing industry to plan and implement charging infrastructure projects at an early stage.

The Spelsberg Wallbox Smart Pro was developed particularly for demanding use cases such as owner-occupied homes and tenant projects. Thanks to its interfaces with common energy management systems, it can be flexibly integrated into existing and new energy concepts. Solutions such as the Spelsberg Wallbox Smart Pro significantly simplify planning and installation while at the same time creating future security for our customers,” explains electrical installer Marco Sahl of Elektro Freydank. Another highlight is the newly developed Spelsberg Wallbox Management Tool, which enables installers to digitally commission multiple Wallboxes simultaneously and to centrally manage all Wallboxes in the network. In addition, Spelsberg facilitates project planning through attractive bundle offers tailored to different application areas.
