The all about automation in Düsseldorf brings users and decision-makers from the region together with providers of automation solutions. Spelsberg was also among the approximately 225 exhibitors represented at Areal Böhler. There, the provider of innovative complete solutions presented its robust GEOS enclosure and switch cabinet systems as well as the TK and TG series of industrial enclosures. “The direct exchange with trade visitors is particularly valuable for us. The discussions once again made it clear how different the requirements are in industrial practice. This is exactly where we come in with our broad portfolio and our options for customized processing,” says Alexander Schmidt, Regional Sales Manager for Westphalia (South) and Siegerland at Spelsberg. “Because we support our customers throughout the entire process, from mechanical processing through printing and assembly to comprehensive testing services. This results in solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective application,” continues Jens Corsten, Regional Sales Manager for Northern Rhineland at Spelsberg.
Broad portfolio for the electrical trade and industry
At gedatec in Berlin, the successor trade fair to belektro, more than 300 exhibitors presented their solutions in six exhibition halls. In addition to the electrical trades, the event is also aimed at the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning and sanitary trades as well as roofing contractors. At the Spelsberg stand, the solutions ranged from AK small distribution boards and GEOS enclosures and switch cabinets to Abox and other GEOS products in black. The BEL Air active ventilation element was also on display and is now available in black as well. In the WKE range, Spelsberg presented its new ceramic terminal, which allows branching with 2.5 square millimetre conductors and is suitable for Pozidriv PZ/S. Applications related to the energy transition and e-mobility also played an important role. These included the Spelsberg Wallbox Smart Pro, AK E-Mobility distributors, solutions for mains and system protection, and the new ZKi 14a Meter enclosure for applications under Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG). Trade visitors could also learn about the Spelsberg EasyPrint printing configurator, the GEOS product configurator and the temperature-rise calculator.
Experiencing practical applications and promoting young talent
Spelsberg also offered practical experience at a workbench featuring products such as AK Kompakt, GEOS and the 2K-16 Junction box with Strain relief. As one of 20 companies, Spelsberg also participated in the apprentice rally organized by Elektrogemeinschaft Berlin and was represented in the workshop street. There, aspiring skilled workers were introduced to AK 24 and AK 36 through a practical task. “We draw a very positive conclusion from gedatec. We were particularly pleased with the high quality of the discussions and the opportunity to deepen existing contacts while gaining new impulses from the market,” says Jörn Lindert, Head of Marketing at Spelsberg. “With its simultaneous presence in Düsseldorf and Berlin, Spelsberg also demonstrated the breadth of its portfolio for industrial applications as well as for the electrical trade and current energy-transition challenges.”
