The AK Compact is more than just a space-saving electrical distribution box. It is developed for installers – with details that noticeably make everyday work easier. These include the integrated PE-/N terminal, the tool-free cable insertion, and the simple mounting of the DIN rail without any additional tools. This makes the compact electrical distribution box a solution that makes installations faster, safer and more efficient – whether in residential construction, technical rooms or as a fuse box in workshops.

New screwless PE-/N terminal

Thought out to the smallest detail, the new screwless PE-/N terminals enable quick, secure and comfortable connection of protective and neutral conductors.

The integrated base carrier can be easily removed and reassembled without tools – saving time and ensuring smooth installation.

Thanks to the combination of classic screw technology, modern push-in function and innovative operating levers on the N-module, a high level of flexibility and user-friendliness is achieved, making the daily work of electricians significantly easier.

Tool-free cable insertion

18 soft membranes ensure quick and easy cable insertion, completely without tools. Some of the soft membranes are still suitable for use with cable glands.

The opposite side is equipped with metric knockouts for cable glands and double membrane seals, so the installation can be flexibly adapted by rotating the box 180°.

Tool-free DIN rail mounting

The DIN rail can be mounted and demounted without tools. With only one hand movement it snaps securely into place and can be just as easily released again using the green unlocking, completely without tools.

This saves valuable time during installation and ensures that installations can be flexibly adjusted at any time. The thoughtful mechanism ensures stability, precision, and noticeably more comfortable handling in everyday work.

Clamping pockets for WAGO 221 terminals

Several integrated clamping pockets in the base of the small distribution board ensure secure fixation of
3- and 5-pole 6 mm² WAGO 221 lever terminals as connection terminals. This allows, for example,
the supply line to be quickly distributed to several RCDs. This creates maximum clarity in the distributor through
organized wiring as well as additional space on the DIN rail and enables fast, efficient work.

Additional features for maximum installation convenience

Beyond these practical advantages, the AK 24 and AK 36 electrical distributors offer additional functions that provide even more comfort and flexibility. This is complemented by a wide range of accessories that expand the range of applications – from the compact IP65 fuse box for sensitive installations to larger projects with 2-row or 3-row surface-mounted distributors.

A side stop and markings on the Din rail simplify the exact positioning of rail mounted devices matching the window cut-out. This ensures the devices always sit precisely and the cover can be optimally closed.

Thanks to the extra recesses in the enclosure bottom, cables can be easily routed under the DIN rails. Also, the distance of 135 mm between the DIN rails eases installation and offers more room for clean and clear wiring.

The comfortable hinged window allows lateral, smooth opening and closing – comfortable with just one hand. Depending on the installation situation, the hinge side can be flexibly chosen to be right or left.

Additional sockets can be mounted directly on the distributor via the lateral knockouts. This provides an immediate power connection when needed – whether for operating additional devices or as a practical maintenance socket.

The snap-lock screws integrated in the cover make opening and closing the distributor particularly easy. With just a quarter turn, the cover is securely fixed or released.

The integrated keyhole fastening allows simple hanging of the enclosure before it is finally fixed. The pre-punched keyhole is simply broken out for this purpose and facilitates precise positioning – even when mounted overhead or in tight installation situations.
