The materials used by Spelsberg have been subjected to a weathering test in accordance with DIN 53 387 (superseded by DIN EN ISO 4892-2) and a
1000-hour test by the State Testing Office in Dortmund. The materials used for the IQ products achieved optimal results as can be seen here.
This material also passed the UV resistance test in accordance with UL 746 C unconditionally.

In principle, not only the level of protection but also the climatic conditions and the occurrence of chemical influences should be assessed when
selecting the installation site. Details of the material properties and chemical resistance of the materials used can be taken from the table though it
should be noted that they are only guide values.
